Tell me you aren’t paying $3 for this stuff ?

This one is beyond crazy and beyond easy. Not sure where I found it but being the frugal gal that I am – every chance I have to save a dollar, let alone $3, I will. Momma didn’t raise no fool.

We all have liquid dish soap under our sink, right?

Get out a microwaveable cup – measuring cup – whatever you have. Put 2/3 a Cup of water into the cup. Warm the water in the micro – like 20 seconds on high. (I think this is the secret – since warm water seems to mix better with the dish soap.) Put 3 Tbl of liquid dish soap into the warm water and stir around. Pour the soap + water into your “reusable” Dawn Foaming Dish Soap Container.

Wha la.

I buy my liquid dish soap at Costco. It comes in a huge jug and it lasts a LOooong time. I also refill my dawn dish soap container using the Costco dish soap… Not even sure how much the giant costco jug costs as it lasts a year or more!

A container of Dawn foaming dish soap is like $2.85 and then you add more plastic to the recycling container. Now you can save that money and not recycle the container.

Everyone wins !
